Session 1: Advanced Merchandising

  • Specify requirements for requesting modifications to points of promotion
  • Examine interactions of offer stacking and arbitration
  • Compare various types of bundle offers
  • Create a variety of bundle offers
  • Define additional special rules for offers
  • Create offers using those special rules
  • Create an advanced scenario loyalty offer

Session 2: Merchandising import and export

  • Define concepts related to merchandising bulk tools, including:
    • Import and export
    • Model offer
  • Create new offers through the import and export tool
  • Delineate which offer types use which template
  • Describe contents on different sheets of tool
  • Examine options for updating existing offers
  • Review differences from product import and export tools

Session 3: Optimizing your site

  • Define basic offer terminology, including:
    • Offer
    • Program
    • Store builder
    • Point of promotion
  • Describe available A/B testing tools within globalCommerce
  • Delineate which tool to use when
  • Create an A/B link test
  • Create a site optimizer test
  • Review concepts of statistical significance
  • Examine special options for home page offers

Session 4: Tracking your market segments

  • Review concept of market segmentation as it applies to DR | globalCommerce
  • Compare segmentation tools for flexibility and ease of use
  • Examine programs, including usage and available tracking
  • Create a program
  • Survey usage and available tracking for multiple themes
  • Specify usage, creation, and available tracking for stored parameters

Session 5: Marketing perspective on reporting\

  • Define categories of marketing data, including:
    • Sales
    • Traffic
    • Promotions
    • Market segments
  • Delineate reporting available for each area
  • Differentiate reporting native to DR | globalCommerce from those requiring additional tools or setup
  • Describe usages, advantages, and challenges of each reporting method
  • Review reporting road map
